Oscar Rodolfo Morales Méndez
Agroforestry Technician
Oscar is an Agroforestry Technician in the Volcanoes project of the ICC.
Oscar previously worked as an Integrated Watershed Management Technician at the ICC, and as a consultant for the Chenomics-USAID Guatemala, and WWF, forest restoration projects.
He is also founder and president of the Guatemalan Association of Students of Forestry Sciences and Related Careers (AGECIFCA) and member of the Latin American Association of Forestry Sciences Students (ALECIF).
He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Rafael Landívar University of Guatemala, and a specialization in Management and Conservation of Natural Spaces from the European Atlantic University of Spain. He speaks Spanish, and English at an intermediate level.
