Rebeca Axpuac is a technician in the Sustainability of Productive Systems (SSP) program of the Private Institute for Climate Change Research (ICC). She is currently collaborating on the Technical Study for Mangrove Conservation on the South Coast, a joint project with Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS).
Among her work experiences we find her work as a researcher in agricultural droughts in a climate resilience study for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the ICC.
Prior to being a technician, she completed her Supervised Professional Practice in the Integrated Watershed Management (MIC) program of the ICC to opt for the university degree of Agricultural Engineer in Renewable Natural Resources of the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. She speaks Spanish, and English at an intermediate level.
