The ICC, as part of the strengthening of the Local Coordinators for Risk Reduction (COLRED) of the Coyolate River watershed, in conjunction with the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED) and the private sector, on Thursday, October 21, helped to officialize four COLREDs.

The COLREDs belong to the communities of Barra Coyolate, Santa Marta del Mar, Santa Odilia and Santo Domingo Los Cocos, of the municipality of Nueva Concepción, Escuintla. These actions are carried out within the framework of the EUROCLIMA + project.

It should be noted that throughout the training process the business sector had direct participation in supporting the different workshops in each of the communities. The activities carried out strengthen the lines of work through the public-private sector alliance.
