We carry out studies of biological diversity, identifying more than:
bird species
trees species
and other insects, amphibians, reptiles and fish species.
We carried out the reproduction and release of three native fish species in four rivers of the southern coast. In addition, we develop two monitoring activities per year to verify the richness and abundance of aquatic fauna.
Through the biodiversity and business program of GIZ Costa Rica, we developed guidelines for the conservation and restoration of biological diversity in sugar production in Guatemala.
In 2023, the first edition of a biodiversity diploma course took place, training people from the productive sector in Guatemala, with the objective of providing the context and necessary tools for implement biodiversity conservation actions.
