We have conducted:
Watersheds flood mapping, using a one-dimensional and bidirectional model. This contributes to mitigation of impacts of risk events in the communities. In addition, we have developed studies on flood zones in the Pacific basins of Guatemala.
We have supported:
Local Coordinators for Disaster Reduction (COLRED) organization, of the total, 10 have already been accredited by the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED).
We conducted training on disaster risk management for community leaders, members of the agro-industrial sector, technicians from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food (MAGA), university students, among others.
