Together with different partners in the region, we have produced more than:
saplings have been used for mountain forests, riparian forests and mangroves restoration in 14 watersheds of the Pacific slope, as well as trees incorporation in agricultural systems in the region.
We have actively participated in the Restoration Network of the South Coast of Guatemala since its creation. This brings together the National Forest Institute (INAB), the ICC, municipalities, communities and companies to join efforts to restore forest cover in the region.
Since 2022, restoration experiences and actions have been disseminated internationally through the GLFx South Coast Guatemala chapter on the Global Landscapes Forum’s GLFx online platform.
We support municipalities and local organizations in the conservation of more than:
hectares of natural forest in 4 watersheds of the Pacific slope.
Since 2011 we have worked closely with the National Forest Institute (INAB) in favor of the conservation and restoration of Guatemala’s forests.
