The forecast for this week’s weather indicates that rains would continue in the country, warm and humid days, and some with electric activity. These rains are regular for the rainy season in Guatemala and Central America.
However, it is expected that, as of Thursday afternoon, rains will intensify in the Pacific since east waves will be passing by, and will have effects from Thursday and up to the weekend over our country.
Because of this forecast, it is recommended to be cautious when driving on the roads, and to take cautionary actions since there could be mudflows, landslides, floods, and other kinds of phenomena due to rains.
For this week, maximum temperatures forecasted are: 27°C for Guatemala City and the highlands, and 34°C for the Pacific.
