Even though rains will continue through the week, these will be less intense, in comparison with the rains that we had last week.
For this week, weather is expected to be partly cloudy, alternating with scattered clouds, and rains with electric activity mainly in the afternoons and nights.
It could also be hot, mainly in the Pacific region, where thermometers can reach up to 35°C. Guatemala City could reach 27°C and the Western Highlands up to 28.
In the image above, the water vapor channel from NASA shows a system in blue, blue sky and magenta, which are the areas where humidity is concentrated. In such sense, Guatemala keeps humidity but not as much as before. This allows rains to be less intense in comparison with last week.
