The Community Adaptation to Climate Change training started today in Parramos, Chimaltenango.

This capacity building process will allow 38 community leaders to build up their knowledge in climate change, specifically in three main areas: adaptation to climate change, integrated watershed management, and disaster risk management.

The training started today at the facilities of the Guatemalan Center for  Integral Development CEDIG, and it is also supported by Tikonel and ICC.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Sigda Chacon, CEDIG director, Francisco Xante director of Tikonel, and Ronal Perez, Robert Lopez and Oscar Morales from ICC.
