Guatemala has plenty of rivers. Within our territory we have 38 basins, out of them 18 flow to the Pacific Ocean, 10 to the Gulf of Mexico and 10 to the Atlantic. Some of them travel even inside our neighboring countries, but we know very few rivers, seldom we haven’t seen most of them.
Today we share pictures of 8 of those rivers so you can get familiar with them. These rivers are located in southern Guatemala.
