The Alamo Weather Station, located in Tecun Uman, San Marcos, started operations this November.
With this station, the Private Institute for Climate Change Research -ICC- reached 25 weather stations in the Pacific slopes of Guatemala. All of the stations generate information from their coverage areas and it is available in our website.
The station network, which is operated and managed by the ICC, generates information about temperature, relative humidity, wind’s speed and direction, solar radiation, precipitation, and leaf wetness.
This station was installed thanks to the alliance with the Association of Independent Banana Producers APIB and Grupo Hame.
