Capacity building

At the ICC we have invested in capacity building at different levels and with different actors in society, training thousands of people from different sectors in climate change, integrated watershed management, risk management, among others.

Since 2011 we have trained more than:

0

people through our courses and diplomas on climate change and community adaptation.

In 2022 we started our flow measurement course, through which we have trained technicians and students in related areas.

In 2023 we conducted the first edition of a biodiversity diploma course, training:

0

people from the productive sector in Guatemala, with the objective of providing them with the necessary context and tools to implement biodiversity conservation actions in decision making.

We have carried out other capacity building processes in areas such as: sustainable tilapia production, implementation of forest nurseries and construction of vertical gardens.
