Representatives of the Private Institute for Climate Change Research (ICC) held a meeting with the Governor of the Department of Escuintla and the executive secretary of the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED); the central theme was the project “Central America safer and more resilient to disaster risk” – China-Taiwan.

During the activity, one of the most important topics was the background of the watersheds associated with the Fuego volcano and the Pantaleón river, following up on the potential impact of this year’s rainy season in the Department of Escuintla.
