Today we congratulate the 24 participants of the Community Adaptation to Climate Change Training, who have graduated from this capacity building process. The leaders from different communities of Masagua, Escuintla, finished successfully, therefore, they received their diplomas that certify that they have approved.
The closing ceremony was hosted at the San Diego Sugar Mill and welcomed 24 participants as well as representatives from San Diego y Santa Ana Sugar Mills, and ICC.
The training course was built up in three modules: integrated watershed management, adaptation to climate change, and disaster risk management. Each module was complemented with a fieldtrip. This training course is financially supported by the Scholarship Fund “Study Opportunity”, sponsored by the Association of Guatemalan Sugar Producers ASAZGUA, and executed by the ICC.
