Dulce Poz is aForest Restoration Technician of the ICC.
Before joining the ICC, she carried her Supervised Agricultural and Forestry Professional Practices (PAFS), focused on Rural Extension in the communities of “El Conacaste” and “La Montañita”, San Agustín Acasaguastlán, El Progreso, Guatemala.
She also collaborated in the elaboration of a community diagnosis on water resources in the community of El Conacaste, San Agustín Acasaguastlán, El Progreso (it involved the use of rural extension methodologies, tours, and the use of a CATIE methodology to estimate the management of a watershed).
She is currently studying to earn the degree of Environmental and Agricultural Sciences with emphasis in Tropical Crops, at the University Rafael Landívar, Campus Escuintla and she graduated from the National Central School of Agriculture (ENCA).
Dulce has taken the following courses taught by professors from UNACIFOR, Siguatepeque, Comayagua, Honduras: Forest Management, Forest Seed Banks, Charcoal Production, Forest Fire Prevention, and Sawmilling and Biomass Transformation.
