Private Institute for Climate Change Research, Guatemala. Secondary teachers from Santa Rosa traveled around the Tapalapa subwatershed yesterday morning, to commemorate International Environment Day, and as part of the Climate Change training that is facilitated by ICC in Santa Rosa. This watershed is part of Los Esclavos River watershed, located in eastern Guatemala.
This fieldtrip is part of the integrated watershed management and climate change module of the training mentioned above, and reinforces the knowledge facilitated to teachers in previous sessions.
During this module, teachers learn about climate change, integrated watershed management, soil conservation, among others. We share some photographs.
