ICC graduated today a new promotion of community leaders with expertise in climate change, through the Community Adaptation to Climate Change training, which was supported by the Association of Independent Banana Producers APIB, and their associated business BANASA, and hosted in San Marcos, La Blanca.
The training provided certifying diplomas to 39 people who approved the training, while 18 others just participated in it. The training course completed 10 formative sessions.
Today’s closing ceremony was hosted by Cindy Estrada and Mariana de la Pena from APIB, Gabriel Galvez from Banasa, and Pablo Yax from ICC.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about integrated watershed management, disaster risk management, and adaptation to climate change.
