We participated in the “V Territorial Platform of Dialogue on Disaster Risk Reduction Management for Region V-Centre”.
The activity was in relation to strategic planning for integrated disaster risk management from the national to the local level, focused on prospective and compensatory management for disaster risk reduction.
Representatives from SE-CONRED (Executive Secretary of the National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction), Departmental Government of Escuintla and Sacatepéquez, IOM Migration and Crisis Assistance, Secretariat of Planning and Programming of the Presidency (SEGEPLAN) Escuintla, Red Cross Guatemala, REDULAC, Magdalena Sugar Production Company and ICC participated, the latter being part of the Platform’s Organizing Committee.
