Today, the 28 participants of the Community Adaptation to Climate Change Training based on Chiquimulilla, Santa Rosa, concluded the capacity building course.

The training course started back on June and finished today, with the closing ceremony where the leaders from surrounding communities of Chiquimulilla received their diplomas. The training had three modules: integrated watershed management, climate change, and disaster risk management. Each module was reinforced with a fieldtrip to exchange experiences.

The training concluded today with 28 graduating participants.

The training was financially supported by the “study Opportunities” program sponsored by the Association of Guatemalan Sugar Producers ASAZGUA, and was also supported by the San Diego and Santa Ana Sugarmills.

Congratulations graduates!
