Private Institute for Climate Change Research, Guatemala. We started a new Community Adaptation to Climate Change training course for teachers in Pachalum, Quiche, where 43 teachers of the Ministry of Education will participate.

The training course consists of 10 sessions, where they will learn about climate change, disaster risk management, and integrated watershed management.

This training is developed in the town of Pachalum, Quiche, and it is financially supported by the Low Emissions Development project LEDS.

Pachalum

Pachalum is a town that lies in the basin of the Motagua River, in the Caribbean slopes. This is the second consecutive year that the ICC develops a training course in this city.
