On March 18, our forest nursery diploma course successfully began trough a virtual session with more than 110 people participation. The course is aimed at general population with the objective of strengthen different capacities related to ecosystems, tree species, forest nursery establishment and management and the regulations that must be considered.
The capacity building process will have three sessions, two of them will be conducted virtually and one presential at the forest nursery in Santa Lucía Cotzumalguapa, Escuintla. These sessions aim to enhance participants to put into practice the knowledge obtained and learn how to install forest nurseries.
