Project: Plan to enrich and monitor the mangrove forest, Mazatenango, Suchitepequez.

Official goals: To enrich the areas of mangrove in the coastal line of the department of Suchitepequez.
Specific goals:
- To reforest and provide maintenance to the segments that lack mangrove coverage, (20ha. preferred) along with the local communities.
- To perform follow up and evaluation activities for the mangrove forests.
- To establish development actions along with government agencies and local communities in the coastal line of Suchitepequez.
Location: Communities from the coastal line of Suchitepequez, including Tahuexco, Churirin, Chicago and El Triunfo.
Funding source: Palo Gordo sugar mill.
