The ICC is preparing to celebrate the World Soil Day -December 5th-. The institute has joined the global campaign of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations -FAO- “Soils: origin of food”.
Since 2020, the ICC has been a founding member of the Guatemalan Alliance for Soil Management and, together with all members, organizes an event to enrich knowledge about this important resource.
Currently, experts in soil are designing a webinar focused on innovation and new technologies related to soil fertility; the event will be broadcasted on the Zoom platform and on Facebook (@AlianzaSuelosGT) on December 5th.
Alma Santos, part of the Sustainability of Productive Systems program of the ICC, reports that the Alliance will be communicating all the details shortly through its social networks.
