The “Community Adaptation to Climate Change” training started today in Retalhuleu.

The training course began with 20 people, who have leadership roles within their communities. They will have the opportunity to learn about integrated watershed management focusing in water and soil, climate change, and disaster risk management.

This time, the Private Institute for Climate Change Research will be supported by the Municipal Environment Management Office of the Municipality of Retalhuleu, and the Association of Guatemalan Sugar Producers –ASAZGUA-, through their scholarship program Study Opportunities.

Training in Caballo Blanco

The “Community Adaptation to Climate Change” training will start this Friday the 27th in Caballo Blanco, (White Horse). In this location, the training will be taken by young leaders, and it will be supported by local educational institutions.
