The ICC continues to fulfill one of its objectives: strengthen people’s capacities in climate change, and for this purpose, we have traveled to Todos Santos Cuchumatan, Huehuetenango, where we started with the training in the topic mentioned above.
In this location, the capacities in climate change of 52 people will be strengthened, most of them are women, and they will focus in three areas: integrated watershed management, climate change, and disaster risk management. Topics are distributed in three modules and are complemented with fieldtrips.
To carry out this training, the Private Institute for Climate Change Research -ICC- is being supported by the Low Emissions Development Strategy LEDS project.
