Community leaders from San Jose El Idolo and Monte Gloria (littoral of Suchitepequez) concluded their trainings in Community Adaptation to Climate Change, which were facilitated by the Private Institute for Climate Change Research ICC in Suchitepequez, and that had their closing ceremony yesterday afternoon.

The training was constituted of 10 lectures and 3 fieldtrips, divided in three modules: integrated watershed management, adaptation to climate change, and disaster risk management. Participants received a diploma that certifies that they approved the training course.

These two locations of the training are supported by the Scholarship Fund “Study Opportunity”, sponsored by the Association of Guatemalan Sugar Producers ASAZGUA.
