The specialist in zootechnics Jesus Rodriguez visited the ICC for the last two weeks, to provide technical assistance in alternative food for fish and backyard poultry.

During his visit, the Cuban specialist implemented lemna growing (aquatic plant), which us used to feed poultry and tilapia. In addition, a lemna pond was built in the Canoguitas Village, Nueva Concepción, Escuintla.

The visit of the specialist was coordinated along with the Pantaleon Sugar Mill, Madre Tierra Sugar Mill, and the Inter American Institute of Agriculture Cooperation, -IICA-, and finishes this Friday.
