To become familiar with the Private Institute for Climate Change Research, ICC, and the scientific support that the ICC has given to the production of sugar cane in Guatemala, a group of professionals from the sugar industry of Cuba visited the ICC today morning.
The Cuban professionals traveled to Guatemala to exchange experiences and to learn more about the different entities that support the sugar cane production, as well as the Guatemalan sugar mills.
During their time at the ICC, the professionals received more information about the ICC Institute, the ICC’s Meteorological Station Network and their operation, the meteorological system that is managed by the ICC and the System of Controlled Burns.
The distinguished visitors are: Aida Victoria Cedeno Perez, from the Cuban Institute for Sugar Cane Derivatives Research, -ICIDCA-, Reinaldo Ruiz Guevara, from the Sugar Group -AZCUBA-, and Antonio Vera Mendez, from the Institute for Sugar Cane Research, -INICA-.
The Professionals were optimists and satisfied with the visit to the ICC.
