Today, the Climate Change training began for the personnel of the Fundazucar Foundation. This training will be facilitated by the Private Institute for Climate Change Research, ICC.
The 52 participants are part of the workforce of Fundazucar in Escuintla, Suchitepequez and Guatemala City. They will be part of the 15 sessions that will be hosted in 9 days and will be complemented with one fieldtrip.
During the training, participants will learn the basics of climate change, integrated watershed management, adaptation and mitigation to climate change, and disaster risk management. Each topic will be facilitated by professionals of the ICC.
This training will finish by December the 13th.
