As part of the actions of the ICC to conserve native fish species from Southern Guatemala, more than two thousand native juvenile breams were released on Friday in the Acome River, Siquinala, Escuintla.
This activity was carried out with the help of 41 students from the Pantaleon Educational Center, who released the fish. Reproduction of the juveniles was in charge of professionals of the Pantaleon Sugar Mill and the Private Institute for Climate Change Research -ICC-, who used specialized tanks to achieve their reproduction.
