Project: Training in Integrated Watershed Management for community leaders from the Pacific Slope of Guatemala.

Official goals: To develop capacities in community leaders to better manage the natural resources in their region based upon hydrographic basins.
Specific goals:
- To handle the concepts, strategies and tools for basin management, being able to analyze and understand the phenomenon and local environmental conditions.
- To build capacities to work with associative groups and families and to guide/promote local actions, focusing on water storage.
- To be able to formulate projects that contribute to local environmental management and income generation for families.
Location: Community leaders from Champerico, Nueva Concepcion and Chimaltenango
